This is a superb TV series as only the British can do. I'm really hoping for a second series.
  • Overly dramatic

    By Deano 65
Trying to be too dramatic with little actual drama or insight.
  • Perhaps the best ever series that I've seen

  • Stylish, careful and powerful

    By TimothyGeorge
Just watched the first episode...its very beautiful. And wonderfully slow in its build up of tension. It manages to create a rare sense of reality and believability because of its slow careful approach. Has something in common with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and the Good Shepherd in this respect. It makes the dramatic twists much more powerful. Really enjoyed it.
  • Tedious

    By Steggles76
Over acted and trying to be way too dramatic. Made it through the first three episodes before giving up. Normally love this type of genre, but it became too much with the terrible acting.
  • Way Too Much Crying

    By Chinensis
I liked the whole idea behind this movie. It's different and clever. The cinemaphotography is just excellent, the best I have seen and I have seen a lot. The thing that was so very annoying was the incessant crying and sniffling by the lead actress. It was like a bad habit she could not break. Out of context and unnecessary. This TV series would have been up there with the very best of British except for her. I would have given it five stars otherwise.
