This is one of those rare films that stays with you for days afterwards. It causes you to think deeply about what is important and what is not. This film was written almost perfectly. No melodrama, just the brutal impact of how geopolitics affect people and the ripple effects that it can cause over time. I can't state enough that if you are interested in history, politics, or the study of the human spirit then this is a film for you.

If you like WWII historical pics, you'll love this one. The historical cinematography is great, and a balanced portrait is set forth of the three sides (Poles, Germans, Russians). Katyn is an underknown event in the West. This movie is many things, but if nothing else, it underscores the abominable evil in the human heart.

a must see documentary of horribly crime Soviets did on 22.000 innocent Polish officers. Thanks iTunes for adding this great movie. In contents of recent tragic death of President of Poland Lech Kaczynski, who died in plane crash while traveling to recognize Katyn's crime, this is the time the World must know and remember those who died in Katyn. Highly recommended very well done movie, nominated for Oscar.
