The Tall Man is back with a vengeance. Armed with his lethal band of flying silver spheres, the deadly mortician who was thought to have killed his last victim nine years ago, returns more dangerous than ever. Once again, young Michael Pearson and his pal Reggie take on the master of the killer orbs as they race against time and risk their lives to thwart his murderous rampage forever. Filled with a dazzling array of special effects, Phantasm II eclipses the original cult classic with unparalleled thrills, horror and suspense.

  • About time!

    By Longlegsgirl
Great to see this and the other Phantasm movies here. This one has James LeGros playing Mike, so it doesn't feel quite right. But. It does have a decent plot and of course, Reggie and the TALL MAN in full swing! An Reggie Fashions himself one hell of a shotgun to get the job done. Great music in the background, plenty of eerie atmosphere as well as shiny spheres - I think it's worth the money.
  • Compromised, but essential

While you should not expect a perfect companion to the instant horror classic 'Phantasm', which imploded onto the drive in/late night b-movie scene in '77-'78, Phantasm 2 brings back Reggie, The Tall Man, and more of those fascinating but lethal balls that wreak lethal havoc once released. And yes, you will be disappointed by a more camera ready, but completely miscast replacement for one main character from the original, but keep in mind that director Don Coscarelli was trying to get his movie financed, and obviously had to make a few concessions. Not perfect, but not to be forgotten, Phantasm 2 does its best to further the franchise, if not perfectly setting up the next two installments, but at that point, who even knew they would happen?
  • Still Waiting...

    By EAMV7
Phantasm is one of the most underrated horror movies of all time. But, I'm still waiting on the original. Not the sequels. Not saying there bad but I wish they would give us the first one before the second one. C'mon iTunes, I know I don't ask for any favors at all but I would be glad to pay for the original Phantasm movie if you put it on the market and a lot of other fans would too.
  • This film gave me a life long love for the HEMI CUDA!!

Campy film, but I fell in love with the Hemicuda and became a true MOPAR fan!!! Great sound from a great car in the late 80's with my dad's new surround sound system!
  • Where's the original?

Why is just the sequel available? It's very good but the original is a classic. Please make it available.
