  • A good movie

This is an important, if incomplete, movie, particularly for Latinos (including those like me who were raised in the US). The movie should inspire us to unite and find the best in ourselves. This was the best in el Che Guevara. This is not to say he was perfect or that all that he did was good. There's plenty of fault that can be found about el Che. (But that same criticism could be leveled 10 times over about George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or half a hundred American heros.) He loved and fought for the Latin American people. And in the end, he died for the Latin American people (even those who disagreed with him).
  • Beautiful production. Hard political message.

Here’s the bottom line on this film: The production is wonderful. The acting, photography, score, screenplay, sound are all first rate, but the politics are polarizing. You know what you’re getting into here, so if you can suspend personal opinion long enough to absorb the graceful humanism of it all, you’ll like this movie.

I purchased the rental and apple said I had 24 hours to finish it. I stop it half way through that night, come back the next morning and it wouldn't allow me to finish. The movie could have been great if I was able to finish it.
  • Great movie!

This movie is one of my favorites.
  • Leftist Propaganda.

"Che Guevara was a real nice guy." That's the basic message of this film. If it wasn't such a bore I might have enjoyed it, but this movie has an agenda to change minds on a person who truly may have been a nice guy, but in this film he's the messiah. This is probably the sort of film that the left thinks is good due to the message alone; forget the lousy story. The acting was good, though.
  • good movie

It was a good movie but the error was in trying to make Che look like a saint when he was just a man. The friend was given the role as the womanizer when t it was really Che who was the womanizer. I wish that had been more accurate. That truth would not have diminish the things that he tried to do in uniting Latin America. The fact is that dispite growing up in great wealth and comfort, his heart and deeds were with the poor.
