Oliver Twist meets Point Break (original) in a skilfully crafted teenage road movie. Soulful performances. Superbly shot; some fantastic capture on hand-held camera of an intimate world of teenage discovery. Some flaws: you cannot help thinking main character is just too nieve. Some lingering, poorly thought out shots, but these don't last more than a couple of seconds, so really the flow isn't affected.
  • Pointless

Starts off really well but then turns into a pointless amateur film.

Sasha Lane does a great job of playing the lead role of Star and is the only interesting character in the film. The film starts with an idea that gives hope of an interesting three hour journey. Sadly the story peaks after the first 30 minutes and then repeats the same idea over and over and over and over and over and over again until it stops. Completely pointless.
