Looking For Eric is the heart-warming and hilarious tale of downtrodden Eric (Steve Evets), a postman whose life is slipping through his fingers. That is until, with a little help from his family, his mates and, believe it or not, his hero Eric Cantona, he gets his life back on track. With a cast of familiar faces such as John Henshaw (The Royle Family), Gerard Kearns (Shameless), Justin Moorhouse (Phoenix Nights) and Eric Cantona as himself. Looking for Eric will put a big smile on your face and restore your faith in the power of the human spirit.

I really did not know what to expect with this film, I originally bought it just to watch Eric Cantona, I still think he is great. I was very pleasantly surprised. It is entirely different from what I imagined it to be like. It is funny (had me laughing out loud in some parts) and also sad (nearly had me in tears too) The ending is absolutely brilliant! Well worth the money.

I thought the storyline wasn't great but the execution was. There could have been more banter like the argument about FC United and Operation Cantona was hilarious. I bet there are better films to come from King Cantona.
  • The return of Loach! You MUST watch this, guys!
