Description

Inspector Jaime is haunted by his past which is dragged out of the shadows by the disappearance of a body from the morgue. On the case, Jaime must investigate how a corpse can vanish from its freezer without a trace, the only witness being a guard who has been left in a coma. With his own nightmares driving him to despair, Jaime’s only suspect is the dead body’s widower, Álex, who maintains his innocence but struggles with inner demons that won’t remain hidden. Now with a body on the loose and a strange phenomena occurring, Jaime and Álex are intertwined in a horror that will leave you cold. From the producers of 'The Haunting' and the unforgettable ‘The Orphanage’ and ‘Julia’s Eyes’.

Brilliant … a real edge of the seat thriller with more twists and turns than Pikes Peak. The only other thing I’ll say is … never saw that coming !!!
  • Entertaining enough

Interesting plot which kept my attention throughout and the ending was certainly not expected. However it is 4 that reason that i've taken 2 stars off as it just too implausible. Don't wish to spoil it but its like saying here you can go from a to b in a straight line but instead you go to z 1st and work your way backwards. For a £1.99 rental though its highly recommended as a late night treat, BTW it's subtitled which is always better than a dubbed version. 3.5 stars overall

…then suddenly you don’t. This is another great example of Spanish horror-thriller work which has you wondering who is really what they appear to be, with a wickedly brutal twist at the end. This is one of my favourites.

Well constructed and entertaining thriller. Lots of twists and scares. Definitely recommend it!
  • Not as half as good as The Orphanage or Julia's Eyes!

I really enjoyed the previous two movies from the same team, but this is awful! In the end we were laughing at the cliches, the stereotypes, horrific acting, obvious twist and disappointing ending. Not sure if it's meant to be ironic but it is so unoriginal it's hard to think otherwise. Watch The Orphanage or Julia's Eyes instead, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Pretty good thriller for a winter evening. Well put together and the various twists are good enough to keep you watching the the slightly disappointing end.

An excellent film, kept me on the edge of my seat throughout! Almost similar to an Almodovar movie. Recommend and for the price, it's a no brainer, better than some of the more 'famous' movies currently on show.

Better than several movies I've seen recently (Total Recall for example) with a great level of suspense throughout. Keeps you hanging for the twist -- slightly disappointing, but the build up, atmosphere, and the actors make it an enjoyable little movie.
