Angela Vidal, the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.

  • Alright movie.

It's not as good as Rec-1 & 2, but far better than Rec 3. Worth a watch
  • Gnarled. bitten, bleeding thumbs up.

    By Abbey Roadie
Obviously not as good as the first two, which worked on a novel idea centered around a claustrophobic and menacing environment. Nevertheless, it is sincerely pleasing that the production team took notice of the fan base and brought the film back into a linear story-line, avoiding the childish humour of the third film which clearly did not work. The build up is a little bit slow, but there is enough edge-of-the-seat action to qualify it as a decent zombie film.
  • Rec Apocalypse

Doesn't compare to 1 & 2 and just because it's better than 3, doesn't make it good. If it were a film in its own right, this would get no special attention, but given that its from the same people who gave us Rec 1, it should be even more ashamed of itself. The saving grace is that it's a short film, even though it manages to be tedious at times.
