Description

Critically hailed as the ‘planet’s coolest TV drama’ (The Times), BAFTA-winning Mad Men is a darkly humorous look at the incredible advertising minds dictating the American Dream in the early 1960s. Hard drinking, chain smoking, over-sexed and misogynistic, these Madison Avenue pioneers sell an ideal they are struggling to achieve in their own lives. But the Mad Men can teach us something about the world - that it really can be bought and sold. Winner of six Emmys®, Two Golden Globes® and a BAFTA, Mad Men is the groundbreaking series that critics are calling one of TV’s best-ever dramas.

  • Amazing, Beautiful and Inspiring Series

This is a beautiful series. Costume designers should win Awards. The script and actors delivery are so genuine that you can easily get engulfed in the time period. When you walk out on the street and see men and women dressed so casually its actually depressing. Highly Recommended.....10*

This is easily my favorite show on TV. While season 2 was kind of slow, season 3 has a lot more going on, and having watched it all already back in the states, i can say for sure that this is by far the best season.

This series is AMAZING! Its so different to everything else around at the moment and captures the social and political attitudes and fashion of the 60s beautifully :)

This has exquisite style and the most wonderfully interwoven historical backdrop. However, the real beauty of Mad Men is the pace - watch every episode twice and you'll pick up something new of significance, that either nods to the past or flags a warning for the future for the characters. Every character has a back story so it's really worth looking at series 1 and 2 to understand where they've all come from. I cannot remember another series where I wished a week away, waiting for the next episode. I love you Roger, Don and Joan - so seductive. Roger - you're my favourite!

Mad Men continues to be the greatest tv show ever made. Unparalleled story and characters which playoff against a beautiful backdrop.
